Only twenty
five minutes drive south from Sanctuary Cove, the Glades is a par
72, 6420 metre course designed by Greg Norman.
Covering 64 hectares, this
course features a special variety of bent grass developed for the Glades.
Used on the greens this grass ensures optimum putting irrespective of
season. Another feature is the trademark Greg Norman bunkering - 98
in total.
In this design Greg not only had a vision to create a challenging
course, but he also retained 9 hectares of wetlands to provide a natural
wild life sanctuary within the course.
This course is one of the few with A4 bent greens which will hold your ball so you can be bold and hit your approach and chips right to the hole. |
